Privacy, kept simple.
Slipstream is operated by slipstreamdata. It does not create visitor accounts, run advertising, profile visitors, or use analytics and tracking cookies.
Information processed
The site receives the information required for any website to answer a request, which can include an IP address, browser information, requested URL and timestamp. The application does not intentionally store this information in an access log. A hosting provider, network firewall or temporary security/error log may process it to keep the service secure and reliable.
Purpose and retention
Technical information is used only to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose faults and protect the service. Operator-controlled security or error logs containing visitor identifiers are scheduled for deletion or anonymisation within 7 days unless a longer period is required to investigate an active incident or comply with law. A hosting or network provider may keep separate security records under its own published terms.
Formula 1 data
Race, session, weather and telemetry data is retrieved server-side through FastF1 and cached for performance. It is sporting data, not visitor data. FastF1 receives requests from the Slipstream server rather than direct telemetry requests from each visitor's browser.
Cookies and third parties
Slipstream itself sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts, analytics or advertising resources. Following an external link, such as the FastF1 GitHub link, takes you to that provider under its own privacy terms.
